If you haven't heard by now, the way REALTORS® do business will be changing on October 3rd. HUD-1 will no longer be used along with Good Faith estimate forms and the Truth in Lending Act disclosure. To make sure you are in the know, KCAR has partnered with some of our affiliates to provide our members with two dates so agents can be trained on the changes, and ask lenders and attorneys any questions they might have.
On August 19th, Ward & Taylor, New Penn Financial, and KCAR will be holding a three hour, continuing credited class on the new changes. The class will be from 9am to 12pm at KCAR. Cost is $25 for KCAR members and $35 for any non-members wishing to attend. Click here for more information and to register for this class.
On September 2nd, Caliber Home Loans, Bonnie M. Benson P.A., and KCAR have teamed up to provide a lunch and learn for REALTORS needing to be trained on the new settlement procedures. This training will not count towards continuing education credit. The training will run from 12pm to 2pm at Wild Quail Country Club. Click here for more information and to register for this class.
